Lyciromantic (also called Recipromantic) is a romantic orientation on the aromantic spectrum. It is a term for someone who does not experience romantic attraction unless they know that the other individual is romantically attracted to them first.
History[]
Sometime before or in 2016, lycriomantic (under the name recipromantic) was coined by a deactivated Tumblr user. Before deactivation, they decided they didn't want people to use their term anymore. On July 6th, 2016, pride-color-schemes created two flags for lyciromantic.[1]
On December 11th, 2020, kyanitedragon made an alternative flag for lyciromantic.[2]
The current name, lyciromantic, was coined on July 7th (2022) by 0RCH3STR4B13S.[3]
